The Reformed Church on the Dorpsstraat was built in neo-Gothic style in 1905. In 1968, a new building was added to the rear of the church. When the new Dutch Reformed Church 'De Wijngaard', diagonally across the street at 134 Dorpsstraat, was put into use in 1983, this church came out of use.
The church later served as a snooker center and disco. The church probably lost its church tower during that period. Around the year 2000, the church was converted into a residential house with a café in the new part. From 2019, renovation has started to the current Valerius Boutique Hotel,
